The Practice

The studio is where material becomes thought and thought becomes form. Working primarily in terracotta, the hands are the first instrument — pressing, pulling, building up volume from within. Clay holds the memory of touch, of hesitation, of decision.

From the clay original, works travel into bronze through a traditional lost-wax casting process, or into resin as limited editions. Each material carries its own weight, its own relationship to light and time. The choice of medium is never arbitrary — it is part of the meaning.
